The Aisling is covered with a durable fabric containing spirulina seaweed extract. During sleep, the microcapsules gradually release vitamins, minerals, and proteins that seaweed contains which has a calming effect on your skin. This cover is removable and washable at 60c.

100% recommend this shop. David and his dad (apologies I dont know his name) are both gentlemen to deal with. Very friendly and give top advise. No issues at all with orders over the phone or in shop. I have bought 3 times from them and will be going back again no hesitation at all. Very friendly and helpful people.

Spectacular customer service. David helped me pick out fabric colours via WhatsApp and kept me up to date during the whole process, from production to delivery. He called and sent photos. And, the beds are lovely and comfortable and were really easy to put together.

This is the second mattress we've bought from the Sleep Shop, we've gone for the latex cloud. We went through the phone consultation service with David as we were unable to get down to Athlone. David is so knowledgeable and friendly, he walked us through the process, followed up once we placed the order to give a estimated timeline for delivery (which was bang on) and answered any questions we had via Whatsapp. A pleasure to deal with and look forward to paying a visit next time

Bought my couches here from David who was so pleasant and helpful from start to finish. The couches we bought were priced significantly cheaper in The Sleep Shop than at another shop we priced them at. Reasonable wait time for beautiful hand made couches and amazing quality.

Natural Swiss Adhesive For The Aisling - Pure Foam Mattress
A natural Swiss adhesive called SIMALFA is used in production. This adhesive is completely ecological and meets even the strictest health safety standards. SIMALFA adhesive is certified by the German Hohenstein Institute and is ECO-PASSPORT certified, confirming that this product does not contain any harmful substances. This adhesive, as one of the few, meets the conditions of the OEKO-TEX standard 100 certificate - class I - which is the highest standard. It is even suitable for products intended for toddlers. SIMALFA is water-based, while standard adhesives are solvent-based. After application, only pure water evaporates.

What bed frames are best?
A solid surface is best like a divan base which provides optimal support-if you have lathes please make sure they are less than 5cm apart a correct support rail is in place If the lathes are wider than 5cm it is advisable to use a sheet of mdf to prevent the mattress from sagging over time.

How long does it take to expand?
A mattress in a box when opened can take up to 24 hours before it fully expands and is ready for use.

Although strong and well constructed, it is light and easy to lift, ideal for changing sheets and for rotating every month.
